Fam Trip to DC

Janie left for Kenya the weekend before I started my new job. She flew out of BWI, so the whole family showed up for a weekend in DC together to send her off in style. Below are some of the highlights:

On June 8, my (and my siblings') longtime babysitter (and a close family friend) got married in Tarboro!!!! My family hosted a pre-wedding brunch at our house, and my siblings and I took the opportunity to snap some cute photos.

Inspired by a female entrepreneur I met at a conference, I decided to make my LinkedIn portrait unsmiling. Women are too often told to smile!

But I also like smiling :)

First week of June: Friends + Food

June was a good month. Here are a few reasons:

Bren visited from NYC! The first thing we did together was eat at Med Deli.

Got lots of QT with Rafi, as I was between jobs the entire first two weeks of June.
