Olympic Day Three: Blue Glacier and Back

I hardly have words for this part of my trip. Spectacular is a good one. This post has too many pictures, but I couldn't bring myself to cut it down any further.

note the wooden/rope ladder hanging down the landslide slope — I had to climb up and down that to get to the glacier.

I learned today that this black slug is an invasive species that threatens the existence of local banana slugs!
